Located in the heart of Miami’s Design District, the new flagship store is a three-story, 12,000 square feet space that incorporates local design details into adidas’s global aesthetic. The first floor features a clean white space with a high ceiling that provides an open and airy atmosphere. The second level has black-and-white floors with a geometric pattern inspired by the gridiron markings on football fields.
The third floor was designed specifically to serve as an event space. It’s furnished with long wooden tables and chairs reminiscent of those used by tailors or shoemakers who worked in the area before it was developed into an upscale neighborhood.
Aesthetically speaking, this branch of adidas is immediately recognizable as an Original Store—it features bold colors and geometric motifs on its walls as well as concrete floors throughout (which were inspired by New York City subway tiles). In addition to selling sneakers and clothing from past collections like YEEZY Boost 350 V2 or NMDs (and new releases), shoppers can also purchase merchandise for their homes at this location including pillows and lamps made from recycled polyester fibers from plastic bottles!
