The City of Miami Beach, ParkMobile, and ParkMe Have Partnered to Offer a Mobile Application for Metered Parking. Here is a link to the City of Miami Beach https://www.miamibeachfl.gov/city-hall/parking/where-to-park/

ParkMobile – Parking is not always easy to find and there is rarely a space on the street close to where one needs to be. Parking in a garage can feel like an eternity, and the rates add up over time. ParkMobile has created a mobile platform that allows drivers to search for available parking, pay for their spot using cash or credit card, and monitor their meters from anywhere. Drivers can also see their location on the map and track their meter’s status.

Parkme – Parkme is a service that enables users to reserve parking spaces in advance. Parking spaces are located near airports, train stations, stadiums, garages, and more. Parkme also features package deals for those who park frequently or need to park for an extended amount of time. With Parkme, drivers never have to worry about finding parking again! Parking can be stressful for many people. Parkme offers a way around this problem by letting you reserve spots ahead of time.

They usually charged me 40$ for 24 hours on weekdays (only if you talk to the guys in the office, they’ll change it to 40$) On weekend nobody warned me that they charge 50$ for 12 hours. So I paid 100$ for 24 hours! Twice more than car rent. I found SP+parking on Collins&13st. 20$ for 12 hours. Better than 100. Never ever coming back to this scam parking and telling all my friends to avoid it

DON’T BACK IN, YOU’LL GET A TICKET! In several of the pictures shared for this location you can see that many of the cars are backed into the parking spaces as I almost always do and as I did with a rental car. What I didn’t know and wish the rental company had warned me about is that Florida doesn’t have front license plates and it’s against city ordinance to park backwards in a public parking space because it makes it more difficult for the meter maids to get your license plate. Even though I parked on the end of the row inside the garage where there is only a single space with no wall behind it and both ends of the car we’re perfectly visible I was still ticketed. Of course being out of state made it more difficult to contest but I did and it was thrown out.

Went during a weekday in the morning and found a spot easily. Only paid $8 for staying a couple hours. Great location and close to the beach. Be sure to pay on your way back to your car (keep the ticket you were given coming in with you to the beach), the machines are found on the ground floor right as you walk into the entrance, after you pay hold on to your ticket and as you drive out feed the ticket into the slot as you exit the parking lot. The beach on the other hand was not worth the trip. But at least parking wasn’t stupidly expensive.

Waaaaaayyyy too expensive. And my car got keyed on the plastic of my SUV. (No we didn’t cut anyone off, park too close to someone, etc.) So for 30 bucks and getting my car keyed? I would definitely suggest not parking here.

Do NOT recommend. DO NOT PARK HERE UNLESS YOU WERE AS DESPERATE AS US. After flying all day on no sleep, we landed, got our rental car and headed to our hotel. We thought the hotel provided free valet, but that’s for another review lol. After driving in circles for about 30 mins for parking, we came across M&G. Their 2 signs said $20 parking, coming from Vegas we could tolerate that, but then it became $40 per day. This is the cost we we’re charged for us to be able to come and go as we pleased. We got there about 7pm Thursday and left Sunday morning (9am). They did only charge us for 3 days, which we did appreciate, however, the customer service was BEYOND BARBARIC. Not sure if it there was a communication barrier or if they just take advantage of tourists, but either way it was completely unnecessary. They do NOT provide recipes and since it’s cash only, we had to scramble for money. We had $137 (total was $140) on us and offered to pay the $3 the next time we came through, dude said “Don’t worry about it.” It was all suspicious. There’s also a different exit that’s hidden that takes u to a 2nd floor, just in case you do park here you are aware since there is a lack of signs… we found out the hard way.

They’re finessing people out of their money. I stayed on a weekend where there is a flat rate of $15.00 from 8PM-5AM. I can admit I did not notice the flat rate but that wasn’t even the problem. The problem came in where I left and after the 5AM mark they charge you $20. Which is not advertised on their pricing sign. Stop stealing pedestrians money!
